Events planned for 2015

'You will be glad to know that we raised enough money to pay for the repairs to the church clock last year, and we now have over £5,000 to help pay for repairs to the church roof which will be necessary in the near future. We enjoyed all the activities last year, and I hope you did too if you were able to come.
So in 2015 we have the following planned:
Monday 20 April at 10am. Primrose walk led by Irene Palmer to Downe Bank - half a mile, down steep steps. Meet outside the church.
Friday 8 May at 6pm in the church. AGM with cheese and wine. Preceded by an illustrated talk on orchids and Downe Bank by Irene Palmer.
Sunday 7 June at 7pm. 'Beyond Paradise', a play about the life and thought of Charles Darwin performed by Christopher Robbie (well worth seeing!) at Wildwood Barn, Cudham Road, Downe. See attached flyer.
Monday 22 June at 10am. Orchid walk led by Irene Palmer to Downe bank. Meet outside the church.
Saturday 5 September starting 1pm. Family Fun day at Downe Scout Activity Centre - BBQ, abseiling, zip wire etc.
Something for Christmas. Plans are in progress. Watch this space!
