Good morning
I am contacting you, either because I know you personally or I understand that you may have concerns about the outcome of Bromley Council's meeting on 25 March where councillors agreed 'to extend in principle the operating hours for Biggin Hill airport'.
I'm sorry that this is not a personal note.

Trespassers enter Downe Primary School grounds today

"Downe Primary School
Please report any suspicious sightings or movements in the school grounds outside of school hours.
This afternoon 4 teenagers were spotted climbing over the school gate via the park - they spent 4-5mins strolling around the playground and were not phased by the families in the park that could see them. One of these parents who witnessed the entry, reported them to the police and shouted at them which caused them to flee. All the teenagers had their hoods up to conceal their identities.
A few hours later they were discovered (having re-entered the school grounds again) by the school caretaker, they were smoking (?) in one of the school sheds. They were evicted and the police called.
Descriptions of the suspects have been given to the police on both occasions.
In addition a few of you may be aware that there has been an increase in recent months of
drug paraphernalia left around the park especially around the football goals and the bench by the play equipment.
Please be vigilant - if you are out walking the dog, visiting the churchyard, visiting the park or simply driving past the school and see anything suspicious please report it to the police.
This is our village school and as a village we work hard to provide the children with everything possible to make their school days enjoyable and do not want any of this to be destroyed.
Thank you
Natasha Brooks
