Traffic orders

1. The Council of the London Borough of Bromley HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that in order to reduce the disruption to traffic likely to be caused by Biggin Hill Festival of Flight at Biggin Hill Airport on Saturday 13 June 2015, and to maintain emergency access and egress routes, it will be necessary to impose the following restrictions:-

“No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to stop in the following roads on Saturday 13 June 2015:-
a) Main Road - between Leaves Green Road and Salt Box Hill.
b) Main Road - between Churchill Way and Lebanon Gardens.
c) Jail Lane - between Main Road and Hawthorne Avenue.
d) Milking Lane (west arm)
e) Leaves Green Road - for its entire length.
f) Dowding Road – for its entire length.
g) Crossley Close – for its entire length.”

2. ANY vehicle stopping in contravention of any restriction on stopping imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986, or by the Council in accordance with the powers conferred upon it.

3. NOTHING in paragraph 1. of this Notice shall apply to anything done with the permission or direction of a Police Officer in uniform or Traffic Warden.

4. T H E prohibitions referred to in paragraph 1. above shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2002.
