From PCSO Dave Dennington:
Darwin Safer Neighbourhoods Team - details of a recently reported theft from vehicle:

"Dear Local Resident
A theft from motor vehicle occurred between 8pm on 22 June and 6am on 23 June 2015 outside 5 High Street, Downe. We recommend that you review your vehicle security arrangements.

Please be extra vigilant in ensuring that your vehicle is securely locked (and the alarm/immobiliser, if fitted, is set) and additionally ensure that no personal possessions are left on display in the vehicle eg. mobile phones, bags, and particularly satellite navigation systems (and their associated cradles). Work tools should not be left in any work vehicles when unattended. Consider fitting anti-tamper screws to your number plates.

Please rest assured that mobile police patrols will continue in the area, especially during the hours of darkness, which are the usual peak periods for crime of this nature.

If you see any suspicious vehicles or persons, please telephone Police on 101.

Did you see anything suspicious? If so, please contact the Darwin Safer Neighbourhood Team on 020 8721 2603 or e-mail: Darwin.SNT@met.police.uk
